About Cymbalta
Cymbalta contains duloxetine. Its medication class is serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It may be used for depression or generalized anxiety disorder and selected nerve-pain or chronic-pain conditions, depending on the exact product, diagnosis and the person’s health profile. It increases serotonin and norepinephrine signalling in the brain and pain pathways.
Whether Cymbalta is appropriate depends on the diagnosis, exact product and strength, health history, other medicines and available follow-up. A general guide cannot determine whether this treatment is right for you.
