Laso MD (“Laso,” “we,” “us”) provides Healthcare Services and optional Wellness Services. By registering with Laso as a User, you gain access to our Healthcare Services and can opt for Wellness Services. This Privacy Policy outlines how Laso collects, uses, stores, discloses, and safeguards your information related to these services.
Definitions
- Laso Platform: Includes hardware, software, applications, websites, content, products, and services facilitating remote Healthcare Services.
- Information: Encompasses “Personal Information” (about an identifiable User) and “Personal Health Information” or “PHI” (about a User’s health), as defined in Applicable Law.
- User: An individual registered on the Laso Platform, including those in customized programs from third parties. “Users” refers to all unless specified otherwise.
- Authorized Providers: Comprises “Authorized Physicians” and “Authorized Non-Physician Providers” using the Laso Platform to deliver Healthcare Services within their practice scope.
- Applicable Law: Laws and regulations, including privacy laws, governing Laso, Authorized Providers, or Users.
- Content: General health-related information on the Laso Platform, not replacing Healthcare Services.
Your Agreement with Laso
For Authorized Providers, the agreement with Laso is detailed in the contractual arrangement. For Users, rights and obligations are outlined in the Terms of Use and supplementary Terms, varying for PCH Users.
Application of this Policy
This Policy pertains to Laso’s Information management, excluding Authorized Providers’ handling through the Laso Platform. Users should direct queries about Authorized Providers’ treatment of their Information to the respective Authorized Providers.
Laso’s Disclosure of Information
- Emergency contacts: Information may be disclosed to emergency contacts.
- Third parties, on consent: Information may be disclosed to third parties with User consent.
- Compliance, Fraud Prevention: Information may be disclosed as required by Applicable Law or for fraud prevention.
- Business transactions: Information may be disclosed during due diligence or business transactions.
Laso’s Retention/Deletion of Information
Information is retained until Account closure. Afterward, a limited time is provided for Users to print or copy information. Secure deletion follows, complying with Applicable Law or as required by Authorized Providers.
Accessing and Correcting Information
Users can access and update their Information, excluding data viewed or created by Authorized Providers.
Privacy Settings
Users can enhance privacy through choices such as two-factor authentication, communication preferences, and Consultation options.
Safeguarding Information
Laso implements physical, technological, and organizational safeguards. Users are urged to create strong passwords, safeguard account access, and log out after use.
